Talk about a Caribbean vacation! Cancun is an easy go-to destination for tourists, considering the city was rebuilt for them. Staying here, you must stay at an all-inclusive hotel as it is not always the safest around here. Blue waters, huge white sand beaches, it is pretty difficult to have a bad time In Cancun. Each day included going to the beach, the pool, drinking margaritas & hanging out at the spa.
We stayed at the Royal Service at Paradisus Cancun - wonderful. This is the adult-only hotel of the Paradisus- a large resort on the main strip of hotels in Cancun. Paying for the Royal Service was definitely worth it; each room gets a personal butler during their stay. Mine was Rode - my boyfriend and I talk about him to this day, we loved him! I do not have too much input on food here since one of my favorite foods is cheese quesadillas, and being in Mexico, all I ate was cheese quesadillas - heaven! The fridge was constantly filled and restocked with snacks, candy, drinks, & alcohol (of course all included).
I honestly had terrible weather when in Mexico until the last day. Even with the gray skies, I still managed to have an amazing & unforgettable time in Cancun.
I only left the resort once and it was to go out at night. We took the dollar bus that goes straight from the resorts to all of the restaurants, clubs, and bars downtown. I did not feel very safe on this bus, however, it is cheap and easy to navigate. Just be careful. Always book taxis and excursions through your resort.
What I Found Easiest
I booked my transfer to and from the hotel online with USA Transfers. I recommend using this company.
