Mallorca's beaches are unlike any other. This island is the relaxing spot you were looking to vacation to.
There is not one beach on this island that is not beautiful. We LOVED Cala Marsal. Not only was it a short walking distance from our hotel, but it was the perfect beach to lay in the sand, relax in the water, and grab food close by.
+ Rent a Car
This way you can explore the island and everything it has to offer. Ensure you receive an international license beforehand though. We used a taxi the one day we went far out and it was not so easy like NYC and they are expensive.
+ Rock Climbing
Not real rock climbing. I've never done that. However, a lot of the coast is rocks. We loved walking along it to experience views we could not see from anywhere else.
Note: We went to the popular southern beach, Es Trenc. White sand for the most part with pretty blue water. But it also was crowded and had an elderly nude beach. There aren't bathrooms or restaurants close by. Let's just say I would not go back to this beach.
WHERE TO STAY
We stayed in Portomar which was gorgeous, had restaurants & some nightlife, excellent white sand beaches, however, pretty far if you want to go anywhere else on the island.
We wish we had a car when here. We didn't get to see Palma de Mallorca which I will make sure to see next time!
