Strolling around South Beach

MUST DO (day)

+ The beach
Of course. Just relax! Realistically, the #1 reason we always come back here. South Beach.

+ Ride bikes
Around South Beach. (most hotels include bike rentals!)

+ Walk around the art deco district
The Wynwood walls were very cool to spend a few hours strolling through and grab some ice cream & tacos.

+ Brickell City Centre
For an indoor/outdoor shopping mall. We loved Casa Tua Cucina here for an early dinner after shopping. We spent hours here trying fine wines, great cheeses, and more.

+ Explore Miami by scooters!
Coming from NY, this was so cool to see all over Miami. Through the apps marked on the scooters left on the streets, you can rent them to get from place to place around the city.

+ Zoo Miami
If you love animals like we do, this was a fun day away from the beach.

Golden hour at South Pointe Pier

MUST DO (night)

+ South Pointe Pier at sunset
For beautiful views of Miami. We went at golden hour before dinner at Joe's Stone Crab close by.

+ DECK Sixteen
Some chill late night rooftop drinks on your way home after dinner.

+ Stroll through Cuban Way.
A cute little street filled with loud Cuban restaurants.

Miami is known for their nightlife. Check it out! We did the whole pregame, speakeasy, end up at E11even night until 4:30am and had a great time.

WHERE TO STAY

I prefer to stay in South Beach because we love how everything is walking distance around there, how safe it is, and of course the beach. We have stayed at a hotel and have done an AirBnB. I personally enjoyed the hotel better, however, if on a budget, the AirBnb is worth it.
We stayed at the Royal Palm South Beach and loved it! Price was not crazy for South Beach and it was a great location with two pools and access to the beach with lounge chairs & towels included in your stay. Free bike rental as well.

RESTAURANTS

+ Bodega Tacos
My favorite tacos EVER. So much so that we get dropped off here by the Uber directly from the airport!

+ Dolce
Our go-to Italian dinner spot in South Beach. Chill vibe with delicious food. Can sit inside or outside.

+ Orange Blossom
Awesome brunch or breakfast spot in South Beach. Trendy so may be waiting a bit if going at a popular time.

+ Pane y Vino
Quality Italian food in South Beach. There is a chef hand making the pasta in the window. Small, romantic vibe. Expect a long wait so I would call ahead.

+ Casa Tua Cucina
As mentioned above, in the Brickell City Centre. A lot of fun to spend time here eating without feeling rushed at all.

+ Joe's Stone Crab
For Seafood. I do not eat much of anything here, but Brian did and absolutely loved this place. It is only open seasonally to get the best fresh Stone Crab.
